Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Klovac platform, operated by Klovant Tech Private Limited ("Klovac", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.


1. Acceptance

By signing up or using any part of the Klovac platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind your organisation, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Klovac provides a multi-tenant AI customer support platform that lets you deploy AI-powered chat agents on your website and WhatsApp channel. Features include a RAG knowledge base, human handoff, lead capture, conversation analytics, and CRM integrations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not materially degrade the core service during an active paid subscription without notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring your team members comply with these Terms
  • Promptly notifying us of any unauthorised access at hello@klovac.com

4. Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK)

Klovac uses a Bring Your Own Keys model. You provide your own API keys from AI providers (Anthropic, Voyage, etc.). You are solely responsible for:

  • All costs charged by those providers for inference requests made through your bot
  • Compliance with those providers' terms of service
  • Usage that results from your bot being embedded on your website or WhatsApp

Klovac encrypts your keys at rest and never shares them with other tenants. However, we are not liable for costs incurred if your bot is subjected to unusually high traffic or abuse — you should configure usage caps directly with your AI provider.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Klovac to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or conduct phishing campaigns
  • Impersonate a person or organisation you do not represent
  • Distribute malware or engage in activity that harms our infrastructure or other customers
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code or underlying models
  • Resell platform access without a written reseller agreement with us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude applicable taxes (GST). You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

If a payment fails, your account will enter a grace period of 7 days, after which access may be restricted. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

No refunds: All payments are final. Once a payment is processed — whether for a monthly subscription or a lifetime plan — no refunds, credits, or chargebacks will be issued, including for unused portions of a billing period. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

7. Support

All paid plans include email support at hello@klovac.com. We aim to respond within 48 hours on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays in India).

Lifetime plan: Lifetime members receive priority email support with a target response time of 24 hours on business days.

Support covers platform usage, configuration, and bugs. It does not include custom development, third-party provider issues (e.g. Anthropic, WhatsApp, Razorpay), or issues caused by your own API key configuration or content.

8. Intellectual property

Klovac and all related software, designs, and content are owned by Klovant Tech Private Limited. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your business purposes during your subscription.

You retain all rights to your content — your knowledge base documents, conversations, leads, and workspace data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store it solely to provide the service.

9. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request for customers who process EEA personal data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Klovac shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of revenue, profits, data, or goodwill
  • Costs incurred from third-party AI providers under your BYOK keys
  • Interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel, Razorpay, Meta, etc.)

Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that period, or INR 10,000, whichever is greater.

11. Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that AI-generated responses will be accurate or free from errors — you are responsible for reviewing your bot's knowledge base and outputs.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that poses a risk to other users or the platform. On termination, your data will be deleted per our retention policy in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If you have a complaint, email hello@klovac.com — we will attempt to resolve it informally first.

14. Changes to these Terms

We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
